Envisioned by the Jesuits and established in 1961, Loyola School is celebrating its golden jubilee this year. The founder of the school is Fr. Joseph Edamaram S. J. (The first Provincial of Kerala Jesuit Province, estd. 1960). Ensconced on an extensive plot of land on the outskirts of the capital city and yet easily accessible to all its amenities, the school provides a sylvan ambience to the 1700 students studying in classes ranging from UKG to Plus-Two. Over the years, this school has been able to undertake many developmental projects, provide for excellent infrastructure, and diversify the courses of study into the ICSE/ISC, the CBSE, and the SSLC/HSS stream.
